The Newport Academy philosophy of care recognizes teen behavioral issues, such as substance abuse, eating disorders, and other co-occurring disorders, as symptoms of underlying mental health challenges, most often trauma, depression, and/or anxiety. In addition, Newport Institute offers continuing connection once a patient leaves our care, through virtual sessions providing ongoing support for both young adults and parents and through our robust Alumni program, which keeps former clients connected through online and in-person events and support groups. We provide industry-leading residential care, Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), and outpatient services with flexible schedules, all accredited by the Joint Commission for Behavioral Healthcare, the nation’s most respected healthcare accreditation body.
